What is the best 1080P LCD HDTV?
I'm a college student living in a 14'x16' dorm. My TV is placed about 7 feet off the ground, with my bed about 3 feet. I'm looking for the best 1080P LCD HDTV for about $250.00 or less. It is a major bonus if it has a DVD player built in. The TV needs to be between 22" - 24", needs an auxilary out (So I can hook up my 2.1 computer speakers) and an HDMI. I just don't know what brands to buy or which TV has good reviews compared to others at this size.
I would like to purchase from a site like Best Buy, Amazon, etc.. Not Ebay or Craigslist.

First off, to get true 1080p you will need a minimum screen size of 23". And if you do go for the 24" screen you will have to sit about 3.5 feet away from the tv to even know that your tv is 1080p and not 720p.
For 250 bucks you will probably have better luck buying a larger 720p tv with hdmi inputs and aux outs. Trust me, you will not know the difference. Also, I would suggest a plasma tv as they have better contrast which makes for a better picture quality.
