22"-32" 1080p HDTV Suggestions?
I'm about to purchase an HDTV for my bedroom, but it must be somewhere between 22"-32". Does anyone have any suggestions? No price limit, and I prefer 1080p.
In your TV size range, don't worry about 1080p. You won't see the advantages it offers on a TV in that size. 1080p becomes an issue as you break 40" and moreso 50". If you end up with a smaller TV with 1080p great, it definitely doesn't hurt you, but its not worth paying extra for. A high end 720p set is definitely a better investment than a mid-range 1080p set.
In the 26" - 37" range I like the Panasonic LCDs best. I think they give you the outright best picture quality. They are also very fairly priced so you get a lot of bang for the dollar. Something like a TC-37LZ85 would be a superb choice. There's also the TC-L32X1 if go down a size.
After that there's also the offerings from Samsung and Sony. Both of them also make strong LCDs in that size range. Models like a Samsung LN37B650, LN32A450 or Sony KDL-32L5000, KDL-32XBR9
