5 stars. Here's why ..In considering what television to buy my parents, I had the apparent choice between buying an LCD LED or plasma. I opted for the LED, but it would be really hard to go the other way. My parents just wanted a TV that was over 50 inches, while I, being a somewhat cranky, "necessary for the best TV over 50 inches. Well, here's what I would call the third best TV more than 50 inches (the 8500 and 8000 models better) when the review. This is the first line of the new Samsung LCD coming out this year and beat them small, in recent years 6 and 7 the TV series, providing a better contrast ratio (vs 4000000-1 3000000-1) almost the same price band. Otherwise, it is virtually identical, having examined the specifications. The news is better if, in this case due to firmware updates and other improvements in end engineering and technology.
The TV was delivered about five days after I bought through Amazon, and it took about 15 minutes to configure. Outside the window, it seems incredible. It is thin like a BlackBerry! Some assembly is required with a Phillips head and about 10 screws to secure the TV to support, but was only 4 points in total and added to the suspense. After literally two ropes connected (the HD component cables and power cable) is installed and running. When the picture came on, it was clear. It makes every other TV I've seen to shame. You can go to Best Buy and do a comparison side by side and you will not find anything better. Forget plasma is the way to go. I could describe in detail how the image is large, but suffice it to say that the film is perfect for sports news. Even if this is your first HDTV, you'll see a big difference. I bought a 32 "240 MHz set Decemeber and this TV is in another league. The side panel LED lighting works well, and there is very little adjustment of settings necessary to obtain a quality image true to life.
"True to Life" is understood in new ways when you buy this TV. The longest has been given your last TV purchase, the most striking advances in this technology will be. In any case, it will be a television that will have a useful life years (over a plasma) and always surprising. That said, I guarantee (2 years) of more than 170 additional or more.
Note: I chose LCD Plasma LCD Monitors are quiet and have no risk of burning photo. The 58 "plasma I was looking at the same price. This plasma TV is better than a lower price at the time of the examination. If price is the main concern, I do shop side by side with cheaper compared to plasmas see if the difference in you is worth the money .
