How to Build a Solar Panel
Solar energy is the most abundant form of energy available on the earth. Using solar power can save a lot of conventional sources of energy. Moreover, the solar energy is a kind of energy that will never be exhausted. It is free of cost and is available to every one easily. Using solar energy can avoid a lot of pollution that is being caused by burning of fuel. It is estimated that if proper use of solar energy is made, we can cut down the energy production by the power plants by ninety percent.
A solar panel is way by which the solar energy can be converted to electricity. The solar panel is made up of number of photovoltaic cells that covert the light energy from the sun to DC electricity. This DC electricity is stored in the batteries that are attached with the solar panel that can be used as per requirement later. The electricity produced from Solar panels can be utilized to meet domestic electricity requirements, village electrification in under developed countries, street light requirement, water pumping and railway signals electricity requirements etc.
Making Solar panel is a delicate process and requires efficient workman ship. The solar panels are being made since the late seventies since the advent of semiconductors. The latest techniques invented have made the photovoltaic design of semiconductors quite affordable and efficient.
Most of the solar panels available are made up of crystalline silicon. The crystalline silicon solar panels engage slicing crystalline silicon into minute slice that are usually thinner than even one centimeter These skinny, wafer-like slices are after that cautiously polished and sent to mending and surface shining to prevent the harm that could have been made from the slicing procedure.
