Hi Everyone!
Ok, so I have lost all of my baby teeth and they have all grown back in. I am 13 years olf and I will be getting braces (top and bottom) in August.
Can some one please explain the ENTIRE process from spacers to leaving the orthodontists office with braces? I would really appreciate it.
I will be getting purple and pink rubber bands (on the brackets).
Let me explain why I have to get braces:
I have buckteeth and the 2 teeth right beside my big buckteeth are tilted away.
It is really bad.
I have a large overbite.
And on my bottom row, I pulled a tooth out too late (the adult tooth was growing BEHIND, not under, BEHIND it) so it is WAY tilted back.

You might have a choice of getting head gear first, due to your overbite. This is what my orthodontist did for me, although I had other choices. Braces definitely will hurt for the first day. You won't be able to eaty chewy or hard foods. Spaces are bothersome and you will get them two weeks before you get your braces on, but they don't hurt. You'll probably have your braces on for a few years.
