Does anyone recommend this USB to HDMI converter?
I am considering purchasing this USB to HDMI converter so I can use my 32" LCD TV as a second computer monitor. Will this converter allow me to connect my television to my PC, and will I be able to stream movies to my television from my PC?

My computer does have a DVI port, but my desktop monitor is connected to the DVI port. I would like to have the use of both monitors simultaneously.
you could buy a whole new graphics card with hdmi for half that price, and still have dual monitor support. Of course, this is assuming your talking about a desktop. Either way, you'll be able to stream movies, music, or whatever you do on your computer to that tv.

however, if your going to upgrade your graphics card, you might consider what else you do with your computer, such as games. I dont know if you do any intensive graphics stuff, but for about the same price as your converter, you could get a decent card for most modern games or 3d applications:

Oh yeah, I'm assuming you want to be able to play HD content, which is why I suggested a new graphics card. The converter says it only supports 720p, but a new card should support full 1080p.
