50in hdtv
whats the optimal television size for getting the full effect of 1080p television sets?
I'm currently looking into getting a HDTV, particularly a 1080p set. I was curious as to what size television should you get in order to truly experience the 1080p set because i've heard that anything under 50in is not worth getting 1080p.
See the link below. You should keep in mind that your TV can't make-up for a source resolution that is, less than 1080P. HDTV is 720P or 1080i, depending on the channel. On a large set, 720P will look better when displayed on a 1080P set rather than a 720P set, but not as good as 1080P would. 1080P is available from some high def DVDs and some games. Some up-converting DVD players can put out 1080 resolution, but your set would probably do a better job of up-converting the DVD, then the player, unless it's a very expensive one.
